My Daily Life as a DL Enthusiast - Day 1: Cloud, Catalan Numbers & Anime Breaks

Some Info About Me

My name is Parth Bisht, and I'm a 21 yr old engineering Undergrad, pursuing my BTech at DTU in Information Technology.

I want to document my life, create content, share my learnings, experiences and lessons with everyone & this blog is my way of sharing it with you!!

Blog: Day-1

25th Oct, 2025 - Saturday

I woke up at around 8am today, (I slept by ~3 am yesterday btw, very healthy lifestyle ikr 😇)

Got ready with everything and started my work by ~10am .

Firstly I completed some courses from Google Cloud (I needed some certifications for entering into an On-Campus Intern Opportunity), explored around Image Generation using Diffusion Models, Transformer Architecture & Encoder-Decoder little bit.

After that I practiced some DSA, completed DP-5 from my course in which I understood 2 problems (Count Unique BSTs and Number of Mountain Ranges) based on Catalan's Number.

After that I had my Lunch with anime BGM 🎧🎶

followed by a little more DSA till ~3pm, then I took a power nap of about 40-45 mins.

After waking up I had originally planned to work on an ML project, but then I decided not to do that rn.

Then I explored a new course on Anime Image Generation using DLGANs.

tbh I didn't get a lot of stuff in the course, but I at least understood some parts of it, and that is enough for today because ... Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will my DL mastery.💝🥰

After that I took some break, said my prayers , worked out a bit, finally had my dinner around 8:45 pm.

Then I took a meet of my juniors from 9-9:45 pm.

[I'm the main Supervisor of MentorLink, at our University, which is an initiative to connect juniors with helpful seniors a.k.a  "Mentors" who guide them through Uni life!]

After the meet, I planned the rest of the night, did some DSA, tried completing MCM from course, but decided not to complete it today due to insufficient time, after prioritizing I focused on practicing DSA problems on Catalan's number pattern instead.

Now it is currently 12:27 am, 

I now have to create one YT Short for summarizing today's journey + plan for tmw.

I hope I can sleep timely!

As I'm giving my first LC contest tmw finally! 🙏🏻
